Here’s to the mom bloggers!

In honor of the upcoming Mother’s Day holiday, we at Fineman PR would like to take a moment to thank the 14% of American moms who are mommy bloggers for sharing their thoughts, reviews and insights with the world.

Our work in brand PR grants us the opportunity to work with many brands that contribute to family life. The clients we represent often make the lives of moms easier, better, tastier and sometimes, just more fun. We work with brands that present opportunities and solutions to challenges facing parents and children today and we work side by side with many mommy bloggers daily.

Recently, eMarketer reported that 3.9 million mom bloggers exist with children under the age of 18 and that mothers were more likely to visit blogs than users in general, particularly to seek advice on parenting issues. The popularity of social media sites like Twitter and Facebook is also helping drive traffic to blog postings.

We recognize the reach and value that parenting bloggers (Dad bloggers, we thank you too!) bring to their readers – offering a firsthand perspective on a new stage in life and sage guidance from a peer. We know that you are a trusted resource for your readers and we appreciate the time you take to engage with us to try a new product, share information with your audience on an upcoming contest, or comment on an issue facing today’s families. It is with your honest feedback and genuine discussion that we learn and listen. We have many moms and dads in our office and we enjoy reading and learning from you every day as well.
